Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and adaptable Medical Assistant to join our busy pain management clinic. As a vital member of our care team, you’ll support Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants by preparing patients, documenting visits, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth clinic flow.



You’ll record and update medical histories, schedule appointments, and perform routine clinical tasks such as drawing blood, checking vitals, and giving IM injections.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and prepare medical rooms for providers
  • Prepare injectables and medications
  • Stock rooms
  • Order supplies
  • Chart in appropriate EMR system
  • Scribe as needed for provider(s)
  • Scan and fax documents
  • Answer phones as needed
  • Schedule appointments in EMR system
  • Administer IM injections
  • Perform blood draws
